My name is Linda Jaeger and I have been cutting hair in barber shops for over 30 years. My experience includes working on a military base in Yuma, AZ and at Lambert St. Louis Airport. I worked for 17 years in West County at Clarkson Plaza Barber Shop before coming to O`Fallon. I joined another shop here for 2 years and decided to open my own shop when it closed. I went to barber school at International Hair Institute. I`ve always liked cutting hair and chose barbering because I didn`t want to work with the chemicals that are involved in cosmetology. After all this time, I still love doing this work and I believe in doing the best job I can.
Dave Vitale has been barbering for 63 years. He is a retired shop owner who started when he was only 16 years old in his father`s barber shop. Dave is one of the few left to use a straight edge that is still stropped on old-fashioned leather. Most of us have gone to using replaceable razor blades. But I`ll guarantee he has a sharp edge. Dave is working part-time on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
Larry Crystal is another long-time barber. He has been in the business for over 45 years. He formerly worked at Harvester Barber Shop for over 17 years. Larry is a friendly, conscientious barber who wants to make your experience here a good one. Larry came back to work in September 2008, after being retired for over a year Larry`s areas of interest include cars and history. Larry is working Tuesday - Friday and taking Saturdays off.
Tony Johnson has been working in the greater St. Louis area for over 44 years. For the last 17 years he has been at St. Andrews Plaza Barber Shop in St. Charles. Tony made the difficult decision to come to Linda`s Barber Shop for a change in enviornment and to take advantage of a new and growing area. Tony`s interests include fishing and boating and golf. He is a native St. Louisan and we are happy to welcome him and know you will find him a proficient barber/stylist
Terry McNail has been barbering for 37 years. Eleven of those years has been spent in St. Charles County between St. Andrews Barber Shop, Harvester Barber Shop and Reed`s Barber Shop. The rest of his career was spent in South St. Louis. Terry joined us in Feb. 2011 and will start out working part-time, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. Terry`s interests include, gardening, fishing and watching the St. Louis Cardinals play baseball.
Come in and give any of our professional barbers a try. While you might want to wait for a particular barber, we hope you don`t feel pressured to do so. This is my first time as an owner of a barber shop.
I hope to rely on the experience of Dave and others
with whom I`ve worked in the past.
I believe that the most important thing in this business
is to offer quality haircuts at a reasonable price,
and that is my plan.
Each of us have clients that have followed us whenever we changed location. Some for over 30 years.
To make comments about any of us please email me
Again, I hope your experience here is a pleasant one.
Thanks for visiting.
